2012 Volkswagen Beetle is planning to appear with a completely redesigned architecture of curvy design thereby giving sharp and muscular looks. It is labelled as a compact car with two door hatchback. The curved front looks more appealing with Volkswagen styled rounded headlamps. The rear with torsion beam is refreshed to give prominent look. The roofline of the new model will be higher and less rounded to offer even better headroom. 

The new 2012 Beetle version will have somewhat wider looks and longer wheelbase compared to its elder sibling thereby offering spacious attribute. As a result the car will provide spacious legroom. The protruding side wings with separate deep curved wheel arches embedded with bigger alloy wheels and higher waistline makes it a unique piece. The compact car is additionally featured with heated seats, tilt – telescopic steering wheel, cruise control system, climate control system and sound system loaded with CD changer, MP3 player and satellite radio.

All new 2012 Volkswagen will achieve even better performance with the assembly of 2.0 liter and four cylinder engine possessing the capacity to produce momentum of 115 horsepower. This assembly is considered as a base model of 2012 Beetle. The higher version will gain good power with 2.5 liter and five cylinder engine to perform even better. Volkswagen is also planning to come up with a slightly smaller turbocharged engine of 1.4 liter featuring TSI engine to move ahead with 170 horsepower. The turbocharged 2.0 liter with TSI engine will be designed to produce 200 to 210 horsepower. All these engine versions work on front drive wheel mechanism. 

It is also suspected that 2012 Beetle will gain R version with the highest performer engine to generate 270 horsepower. This version can come with all wheel drive mechanism or even hybrid mechanism. The vehicle is expected to come with 5 speed gearbox with manual transmission with the option to select six speed automatic transmission. The turbocharged engines from Volkswagen will come with automated dual clutch manual transmission.

The descent architecture of 2012 Volkswagen Beetle will appear in the market by spring of next year. The base model of 2012 Volkswagen Beetle is expected to get a price tag of around $18,900 with the advancement of prices associated with higher versions of 2012 Beetle. It is a cute compact car available with affordable price range.
